How I love the 5 Minutes for Mom blog. These women are amazing. Not only will they be giving prizes to their readers during their Christmas giveaway but they will be selecting several nominated families to provide gifts to families in need this year. 
I think this is a wonderful thing they are doing. I can speak from experience of being one of those families in need. Back in 1998 2 weeks before Christmas our house burned down. We were lucky enough to have friends who came to our rescue. They paid for all of our Christmas gifts. I only had to provide them with a list of what my children wanted and it was taken care of. They also paid off my layaway I had and donated gift cards to us for local stores to replace the clothing and household items we lost. No words can ever explain how greatful we were and there were never enough thank you's to be said in my eyes. I am very greatful to have had such wonderful people in my life at a time of need.
